Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous work experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.
• Moves, lifts, carries and places merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Stands and walks continuously during shift.
• May be exposed to weather conditions and cleaning solvents or chemicals.
• May be exposed to latex, eggs, nuts, soy and wheat.
• Employment at Harps may be contingent upon completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Bakery/Deli Department Operations: readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation.
• Replenishment and Inventory Procedures: ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing and accounting, back stock, reclamation and returns.
• Merchandising & Sales Floor Standards: stocking, signing, displays, sampling, zoning.
• Fresh Food Preparation & Production: food safety, preparation and production requirements.
• Safety/Quality Orientation: maintain high quality products and safety procedures.
• Building relationships and customer service per SMILE program guidelines.
