Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide fresh products ordered with correct portions to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Operate bakery equipment safely (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens).
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and recipes.
• Measure, mix ingredients and use kitchen utensils/equipment.
• Label and inventory ingredients and department merchandise.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
