Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide fresh products ordered and portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customers' needs.
• Use bakery equipment per company guidelines (refrigerators, slicers, ovens).
• Prepare foods according to logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, mix ingredients with kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
