Responsibilities

• Prepare items per customer requests using bakery equipment
• Offer samples to help customers discover items
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials
• Provide fresh products in correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and recipes
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers with logs
• Answer questions and make product recommendations
