- Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
- Offer product samples to customers.
- Inform customers of specials.
- Provide fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
- Recommend items to customers.
- Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
- Follow food safety and temperature logs.
- Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
- Package, label, and inventory ingredients.
- Check product quality and review 'sell by' dates.
- Use kitchen equipment properly.
- Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
- Report discrepancies to management.
- Assist customers in locating products.
- Stay updated on ads and promotions.
- Maintain product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries.
- Monitor inventory and stock conditions.
- Ensure proper temperatures and logs.
