Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products ordered and in correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend bakery or deli items to customers to ensure they get what they want and need.
• Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
• Follow food safety regulations, maintain temperature logs, and ensure proper food handling.
• Label, stock, and inventory products; report discrepancies.
• Maintain knowledge of products and store layout to assist customers effectively.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper storage conditions.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and promote trust among staff.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards, report safety issues, and perform equipment maintenance.
• Handle conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.

Salary Range: $18.25 - $24.61 per hour.
