Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Customer service skills

- Ability to obtain a food handler's permit upon employment

- Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
- Offer product samples to customers.
- Inform customers of specials.
- Provide fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrink.
- Recommend products to customers.
- Use bakery equipment following guidelines.
- Follow food safety and temperature logs.
- Measure and prepare ingredients.
- Package, label, and inventory ingredients.
- Check product quality and freshness.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely.
- Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
- Report discrepancies in product orders/shipping.
- Know store layout to assist customers.
- Stay current with promotions and product knowledge.
- Maintain inventory and stock conditions.
- Ensure proper temperatures and logs for cases and coolers.
- Foster trust and respect among staff.
