Minimum Position Qualifications:

  1. Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
  2. Offer product samples to customers.
  3. Inform customers of specials.
  4. Provide fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrink.
  5. Recommend products to customers.
  6. Use bakery equipment following guidelines.
  7. Follow food safety and temperature logs.
  8. Measure and prepare ingredients.
  9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients.
  10. Check product quality and freshness.
  11. Operate kitchen equipment safely.
  12. Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
  13. Report discrepancies in product orders/shipping.
  14. Know store layout to assist customers.
  15. Stay current with promotions and product knowledge.
  16. Maintain inventory and stock conditions.
  17. Ensure proper temperatures and logs for cases and coolers.
  18. Foster trust and respect among staff.
  19. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
  20. Adhere to food safety regulations.
  21. Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
  22. Inspect and maintain equipment.
  23. Report accidents.
  24. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
  25. Manage conflicts professionally.
  26. Act with honesty and integrity.
  27. Follow directions and seek help when needed.
  28. Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
