• Informing customers of bakery and deli specials.
• Providing fresh, correctly portioned products to customers.
• Recommending items to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Using bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Preparing foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients as per recipes.
• Packaging, labeling, and inventory management of ingredients.
• Checking product quality and freshness, reviewing sell-by dates.
• Properly using kitchen equipment like refrigerators, slicers, ovens, etc.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventorying merchandise.
• Reporting discrepancies in ordering/shipping.
• Understanding store layout to assist customers efficiently.
• Staying updated on current and upcoming promotions and products.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy and temperature logs.
• Promoting a respectful environment among staff and with customers.
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere and answering product questions.
• Adhering to food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
