• Informing customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Providing customers with fresh products they have ordered, ensuring correct portion sizes.
• Recommending deli or bakery items to customers.
• Using bakery equipment according to company guidelines.
• Preparing foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients as per recipes.
• Packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients and merchandise.
• Checking product quality and reviewing "sell by" dates.
• Using kitchen equipment properly.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventorying department merchandise.
• Reporting product discrepancies to management.
• Understanding store layout and assisting customers in locating products.
• Staying current with advertisements and product knowledge.
• Maintaining inventory and temperature logs.
