This role involves obtaining requested Deli or Bakery items for customers, wrapping or packaging items, using the cash register to total orders, accepting payments, and making change. In the Deli, responsibilities include frying chicken, jojo's, burritos, baking chicken on a rotisserie, making sandwiches, salads, pizzas, popcorn, cotton candy, and slicing meats or cheese. In the Bakery, duties include slicing bread and packaging bakery products. Additionally, the role involves stocking and cleaning the Deli/Bakery areas as needed.

Essential Functions

1. Handle tools or operate equipment using hands, arms, and fingers.
2. Work in a standing position for 4-8 hours daily.
3. Use suggestive selling techniques to educate customers about Bakery and Deli products.
4. Locate, prepare, price, label, and package products per customer requests.
5. Cook hot foods like chicken and burritos, and prepare sandwiches, salads, pizzas, popcorn, and cotton candy.
6. Slice meats and cheeses, serve salads, and retrieve baked goods from cases.
7. Use the store intercom to promote Bakery/Deli products.
8. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations.
9. Restock and garnish products as needed.

• Perform duties related to frying, baking, or cake decorating as assigned.
