Essential Job Functions:

1. Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
3. Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
4. Provide customers with fresh products ordered and in correct portions to prevent shrink.
5. Recommend deli or bakery items to customers.
6. Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
7. Prepare foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients.
10. Check product quality and freshness.
11. Use kitchen equipment properly.
12. Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
13. Report discrepancies to the manager.
14. Understand store layout and locate products for customers.
15. Stay updated on ads and promotions.
16. Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer questions.
17. Monitor inventory conditions and note discrepancies.
18. Ensure proper temperatures and log maintenance.
19. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
20. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
21. Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
22. Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
23. Report accidents.
24. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
25. Manage conflicts professionally.
26. Act with honesty and integrity.
