• Informing customers about bakery and deli specials.
• Providing customers with fresh products ordered and in correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommending bakery or deli items to meet customer needs.
• Using bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
• Preparing foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients as per recipes.
• Packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients and products.
• Checking product quality and freshness, reviewing 'sell by' dates, and taking appropriate actions.
• Properly operating kitchen equipment like stoves, scales, fryers, steamers, etc.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventory management.
• Reporting discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
• Understanding store layout to assist customers efficiently.
• Staying updated on current, upcoming, seasonal, and promotional ads.
• Maintaining product knowledge to respond to customer inquiries and suggest items.
• Monitoring inventory levels and conditions.
• Ensuring proper temperature maintenance and logs for cases and coolers.
