Job summary

The Market in the Square is seeking a Baker to join our Bakery department. You will produce a variety of baked goods by following set recipes and standards, and help ensure high quality products for customers.

Ideal candidates have prior baking experience, are detail-oriented, and can adapt in a fast-paced setting. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, with opportunities for growth and a friendly team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Produce baked goods by following set recipes and standards.

• Stock and rotate all bakery products and supplies.
• Utilise equipment such as ovens, mixers, sheeters, fryers, scales, slicers and wrappers.

Daytime Bakers are responsible for producing various bakery products/baked goods by following set recipes and department standards. Bakers will measure, mix, cut, roll, press, proof, bake, fry, fill and frost as necessary to provide customers with a variety of visually appealing, appetizing, high-quality baked goods.

Education and Work Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
