Job summary

El Super store #55 Camelback in Phoenix is hiring a Bakery Clerk to support the bakery. Under the Bakery Manager, you will provide friendly customer service, assist with bakery purchases, and help keep displays clean and well stocked.

You may take special orders, work with the Baker on items to bake or decorate, and participate in department cleaning to maintain a welcoming shopping area. Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all food-related roles.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and colleagues.
• Regularly lift/move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean shelves and display cases; rotate displays.
• Work with Baker to determine items to bake or decorate.
• Help with department cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
