Job summary

El Super in Phoenix is seeking a Bakery Clerk for the #55 Camelback location to provide friendly, fast service in the bakery department. You will assist customers with bakery purchases, handle special orders, assist the Baker with decoration decisions, and maintain clean displays.

This role requires physical effort, including standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 60 pounds. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, prices and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence and communicate with customers clearly.
• Provide friendly, customer-focused service in the bakery department.
• Regularly lift and move up to 60 pounds as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service in bakery and assist customers with purchases.
• Take special bakery orders and help the Baker with decoration decisions.
• Clean shelves and display cases; keep self-serve displays tidy and rotated.
• Assist with department cleaning and general store upkeep as directed.
