Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a bakery team member to prepare, bake and display bakery items in a fast-paced environment. You’ll follow product handling information, operate bakery equipment, and help ensure freshness and quality for customers.

The role requires the ability to work Thursday through Saturday and Sunday shifts, a focus on safety, sanitation, and customer service, and adherence to club policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following production information and charts.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards in the bakery department.
• Answers questions, takes special orders, and ensures items are properly priced.
• Rotates, stocks, labels and sanitizes bakery products and equipment.
