Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a bakery team member to support the bakery department with preparation, baking, labeling, and restocking. You will follow product handling information, operate ovens and equipment, and ensure clean, safe conditions for all items.

The role includes evening shifts 3pm–10pm, 3–4 days a week with weekend work and up to 20 hours. Prior bakery or customer service experience is preferred, and adherence to club standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following product handling information.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts per production chart.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards in the bakery department.
• Gathers products for the next business day and labels items with prices.
• Rotates and stores bakery items following food safety and quality policies.
