Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a dedicated bakery member to join our team. You will proof, bake and display bakery items, assist members with product selections and ensure safe handling and storage of all bakery goods. You’ll rotate stock, label products, and help maintain a clean, organized bakery area.

The role emphasizes timely service, teamwork, and adherence to club standards while delivering a positive member experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods using ovens and production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods and rotates/stores bakery products.
• Decorates special order or case products.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and surfaces in the bakery.
• Ensures items are correctly priced and labeled.
