Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a bakery associate to support a fast-paced bakery department. You will proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, package items, and ensure correct display and labeling based on production charts.

You will greet members, answer questions, fulfill special orders, and help maintain clean, safe bakery areas while delivering team-oriented service and Gold standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following production charts.
• Packages baked goods and prepares products for the next day.
• Rotates, stores and inspects bakery items for freshness and safety.
• Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and display areas.
