Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. in the United States is seeking a bakery team member to proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, follow production chart recommendations, and prepare items for the next business day.

You will receive and store bakery shipments, rotate stock, ensure freshness and quality, label prices, and help maintain clean, safe bakery facilities while delivering friendly service to members.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following item’s product handling information using ovens and equipment.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments; rotates and stores products following safety policies.
• Generates labels and price tickets; ensures items are accurately priced.
• Keeps equipment, fixtures and surfaces clean and sanitized; operates equipment safely.
