Job summary

El Super is hiring a Bakery Clerk for Store #30 Anaheim. Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, you will assist customers with bakery purchases, keep shelves stocked, and manage self-serve displays.

Basic PC/Outlook skills are a plus. Food Handler Card is required for food handling duties. Starting wage is $16.90 per hour, with opportunities for growth and benefits through the Chedraui USA group.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but uninvolved instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lb, frequently up to 45 lb, occasionally up to 60 lb.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in the Bakery department and assist with bakery purchases.
• Clean shelving and display cases and maintain self-serve displays.
• Coordinate with the Baker on items to bake or decorate.
• Support department cleaning and safety practices.
• Assist with special orders as needed.
