Job summary

El Super is hiring a Bakery Clerk at #44 Lynwood. Under supervision from the Bakery Manager, you will assist customers, process bakery purchases, and help prepare items for display.

You will clean and rotate displays, handle special orders, and coordinate with the Baker on baking/decorating needs. The role emphasizes friendly service, lifting up to 60 pounds, and maintaining a fast-paced grocery store environment.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service in the Bakery department.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean, stock, and rotate displays and shelves in the bakery area.
• Work with the Baker to determine items to bake or decorate.
• Help with department cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
