The role requires 1-2 years bakery experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent.
• Dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Performs general housekeeping and maintains clean, sanitary bakery area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package all baked goods as directed by Bakery Manager.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are properly prepared, packaged and presented with cleanliness.
• Stock, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate bakery products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, and related bakery equipment as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized bakery department.
