Sprouts Farmers Market in Texas is hiring a Bakery Clerk to assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods; deliver high level customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain a clean, safe bakery area, handle price accuracy, log shipments, and help with stocking. The role requires 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent, flexible schedule including nights and weekends; excellent teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the department and equipment.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
• Stand for up to 3 hours at a time and up to 8 hours per shift; lift up to 40 lbs.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; obtain Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure items are well presented and sanitized.
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; sweep and tidy shelves.
• Stock, fill, price, and rotate bakery products; discard outdated items.
• Receive and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
