Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a bakery associate to package, label, and price bakery products. You will maintain stock levels and ensure product quality through proper dating, appearance, and storage controls.

You will assist bakery personnel with preparing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product displays, while promoting sales and delivering friendly customer service in-store and by phone.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Physically able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to read and follow safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate baked goods to ensure quality and freshness.
• Assist bakery staff with packaging, labeling, and displays.
• Promote product sales using suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work area following safety procedures.
• Greet customers and take orders by phone and in person.
