Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Bakery Associate to manage packaging, labeling, and stocking of bakery products. You will monitor stock levels, ensure product quality and proper storage, and assist customers with their orders in person or by phone.

The role requires ability to operate bakery equipment, maintain sanitation, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Training is provided on the job with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Typically involves on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate baked goods to ensure quality and freshness.
• Assist bakery staff with packaging, labeling, and product displays.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling.
• Stack pallets and organize products per company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
• Provide friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
