Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bakery and retail experience preferred.
• Effective communication and math skills required.
• Second language abilities are a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older and hold a current food handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued by answering product questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with health, safety, and civil codes in the bakery area.
• Meet daily production goals for baked goods and ensure product freshness.
• Assist with receiving and unloading of merchandise and supplies.
• Develop product knowledge and respond to customer questions with recommendations.
• Prepare special orders per customer requests.
• Operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise; monitor dates.
• Report discrepancies and safety concerns to management.
