Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Bakery Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, safe bakery area. You will prepare items to order, assist customers with samples, and promote bakery specials while ensuring quality and accuracy of portions.

You will work with bakery equipment, monitor temperatures, and help inventory and label products. A strong team player with basic math skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Desire to gain an understanding of food production and basic cooking techniques.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to obtain current food handlers permit once employed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Inform customers of bakery specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that they ordered and the correct portion size.
• Recommend bakery items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, ovens) according to guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and instructions.
• Maintain inventory of ingredients and merchandise.
