Hy-Vee is seeking a Bakery Clerk in a fast-paced store bakery environment. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, and help maintain fresh, appealing baked goods while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing and replenishing items, checking freshness, and supporting a welcoming store atmosphere for every customer. Prior experience preferred but training is provided in a team-focused setting.

Formación

• Follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.
• Use basic math for simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates in a friendly, helpful way.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers warmly at the bakery counter and assist them.
• Help customers find products, reach items, and take orders.
• Monitor product freshness and stock during the shift.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish baked goods as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and organize the work area at all times.
• Operate the department register to process payments when applicable.
