Responsibilities

1. Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
2. Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, while maintaining cleanliness of the bakery area.
3. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery environment, including cleaning shelves, floors, and equipment, and removing hazards.
4. Stock, fill, face, and ensure accurate pricing; monitor product rotation and discard outdated items.
5. Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
6. Thrive in a fast-paced environment; we want to hear from you!

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other equipment safely.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, with ability to lift and transfer trays and products as specified.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards, and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
