Job summary

ShopRite of Hoboken is seeking a Cake Decorator to support the Bakery Department. You will assist the Bakery Manager with baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging, filling, and decorating of pastry items, while keeping the area clean and visually appealing.

You will follow recipes, ensure quality standards, and interact with customers to provide a great shopping experience. The role requires physical stamina and ability to work varied shifts in a bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to stand, lift 25–50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Follow recipes to prepare bakery items and decorate as directed.
• Rotate merchandise and ensure accurate signage and pricing.
