Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all quality assurance standards. Responsibilities include:

• Promote trust and respect among associates.

• Offer samples and inform customers of specials.
• Provide fresh products and accurate portions to prevent shrink.
• Recommend bakery items to customers.
• Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Inventory and label products, report discrepancies.
• Maintain a positive attitude and current knowledge of store layout, ads, and inventory conditions.
• Ensure safety and proper equipment maintenance, report safety issues or accidents.
