BAKERY/BAKER (Finance)

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to handle stressful situations

• Knowledge of basic math
• Current food handlers permit once employed

Desired Qualifications:

• Bakery experience
• Retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Additional responsibilities include creating a welcoming environment, maintaining product knowledge, preparing bakery items, offering samples, informing customers of specials, ensuring product freshness, recommending bakery items, operating bakery equipment, preparing foods according to recipes, inventory management, adhering to food safety regulations, maintaining proper temperatures, practicing safety procedures, and reporting safety issues or incidents. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
