Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring for a Bakery Team Member in Woodbury, MN. You will support the Bakery team with receiving, preparing, stocking, and displaying products while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to WFM standards.

Responsibilities include case cleanliness, stock management, waste reporting, inventory checks, and assisting with sampling and daily operations. A friendly, proactive, and team-focused attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked, front-facing, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Punctuality and readiness for shifts; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers timely and effectively, and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; keeps equipment clean.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accurate signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
