Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. in Miami is seeking a Bakery Clerk to proof and bake unfinished bakery goods by following production charts and handling information. You will display items and ensure proper packaging for daily needs.

Work with a team to deliver fresh, high-quality bakery products while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and friendly member service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods using ovens and other equipment.
• Gathers products for the next business day based on production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods (cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, cakes).
• Deco- rates special order or case products.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and shelf-life policies.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments and ensures freshness.
• Generates labels and price tickets and ensures items are accurately priced.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Operates bakery equipment following safety policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains club standards.
