Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in the United States is seeking a bakery team member to support daily production and display of bakery goods. You will proof, bake, package, decorate, and rotate products while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods using ovens and other equipment.
• Packages freshly baked goods and displays items as needed.
• Decorates special order or case products.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and quality policies.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments and checks for freshness.
• Generates labels and price tickets and ensures items are priced correctly.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, fixtures, and surfaces in the bakery.
• Operates bakery equipment following safety policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments.
