Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a collaborative Baker to craft breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using tested recipes. You will measure, mix, shape, and bake items, then decorate and display goods in an appealing way while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

You’ll work closely with the bakery team to plan daily production, manage inventory, and ensure quality. Customer interactions, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and production methods.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products; decorate items such as cakes and specialty desserts.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe work area; rotate and label ingredients; display products attractively.
• Collaborate with bakery team to plan daily production needs and keep operations running smoothly.
