Valley Markets Inc. is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support the Hugo's Family Marketplace bakery department. You will help with production, packaging, and display while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires physical stamina, safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training and growth opportunities are available, with benefits for both full-time and part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of bakery equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow proper food handling safety procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Lift and move bakery products and supplies, up to 50 lbs.
• Assist in production of bakery products, including mixing, baking, and preparing items for sale.
• Package bakery products attractively for customer purchase.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery area and equipment.
• Decorate and arrange baked goods for display meeting standards.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
