ShopRite of Lawnside in Lawnside, NJ is seeking a dedicated Baker to assist the Bakery Manager with daily operations, including baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging, and filling of designated pastry and bread items. The role focuses on maintaining a neat, clean department and delivering high-quality products to customers.

The position emphasizes safety, sanitation, customer service, and teamwork, with requirements to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow all company policies

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Maintain department sanitation and QA standards (i.e. safety, personal hygiene, clean cases, and equipment).
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with Department of Sanitation and QA standards.
• Greet all Customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Prepare trays to Company’s and Customer’s satisfaction.
• Follow recipes to produce food products of specified flavor, texture, clarity, bouquet, or color.
