Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Bakery Associate for the Bottino, NJ location. You will assist the Bakery Manager with daily operations, bake and prepare pastry and bread items, mix dough, ice, package, and ensure the department remains visually appealing and compliant with company policies.

The position emphasizes customer service, product quality, and safety in a fast-paced retail bakery environment. You may handle varying temperatures, lift weights up to 50 lbs, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak English fluently.
• Stand/walk for entire shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized bakery area.
• Sanitize surfaces and equipment per QA standards.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
