Job Summary

Provide leadership in the Bakery Department by directing and managing Team Members, ordering raw materials and supplies, and implementing merchandising initiatives to stimulate business growth while meeting customer requirements and maximizing profits.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a Bakery Manager in their absence.
• Understand and adhere to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Provide products and services that meet or exceed customer requirements and abide by the company's guiding principles.
• Follow all procedures to eliminate out-of-stocks, maintain presentation, increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, ensure a safe work environment, and reduce shrink.
• Develop and maintain communication with other departments to develop marketing plans that meet financial objectives.
• Oversee and evaluate training for department team members to reduce turnover and promote efficiency.
• Maintain records of inventories and work processes to calculate gross monthly profit.
• Manage inventories by tracking reports and ordering raw materials to meet customer needs and maximize profits.
• Willingness to work necessary hours to complete tasks.
• Work in a store environment with exposure to daily activities and equipment used in the bakery department.
