Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is hiring a Baker Assistant in California. The role supports the Baker and PIC, performing FOH/BOH duties, cleaning, greeting guests and handling payments.

You will also prepare drinks and ingredients for baking, and package cakes for customers. Ideal candidates have some high school education; a Food Handler certification is often required by local rules. ADA considerations and a focus on safety are emphasized in the EOS.

Qualifications

• Education includes some high school as a baseline requirement.
• Food Handler certification or local food-safety prerequisites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Front of House and Back of House duties as directed by the PIC.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the store through cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Greet and serve guests.
• Handle payments at the cash register.
• Prepare drinks at the Tea Bar.
• Prepare ingredients for baking, including weighing and storing.
• Package cakes into boxes.
