Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Baker to join our bakery team in Corvallis, OR. You will prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts from established recipes, measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate items, and ensure consistent quality.

You will maintain a clean, safe work area, rotate and label ingredients, and display products attractively. You’ll assist customers, take special orders, and help keep daily production on track in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to provide friendly, timely help while addressing questions.
• Experience baking breads, pastries, and desserts using recipes and standard methods.
• Ability to follow recipes, maintain quality and presentation standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, keep a clean workspace, and meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts per recipes and production methods.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products; decorate items like cakes and specialty desserts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; rotate and label ingredients; keep cases well-stocked and appealing.
