Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. (Safeway) in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a dedicated Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts from established recipes. You’ll measure, mix, shape, and bake, while decorating items and maintaining quality and presentation.

You will keep a clean, organized work area, rotate ingredients, and help plan daily production with the bakery team. Customer questions and special orders are handled with friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts using recipes and production methods.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products; decorate items such as cakes and desserts.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe work area; rotate and label ingredients; keep cases well stocked.
• Partner with bakery team to plan daily production; assist customers with product questions and special orders.
• Contribute to a fast-paced environment with focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
