Job summary

Safeway in Phoenix is seeking a friendly Baker to prepare fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts from established recipes. You’ll measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate items while maintaining consistent quality and presentation across the bakery.

You’ll keep a clean, safe work area, rotate ingredients, restock cases, and assist customers with product questions and special orders. This fast-paced, team-focused role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a positive customer service

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts from established recipes.
• Measure, mix, shape, bake and decorate products with quality and consistency.
