Job summary

Safeway bakery team member role at Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a dedicated baker to prepare fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using tested recipes and production methods. You will measure, mix, shape, bake, decorate items, and keep a clean workspace while ensuring quality and consistency.

You’ll help with daily production planning, assist customers with questions, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced setting. Early mornings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes.
• Measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate items with care.
• Organize a clean, safe workspace and rotate/label ingredients.
• Assist customers with questions and special orders when needed.
• Collaborate with bakery team to plan daily production and meet demand.
