Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certification or within 12 months of hire.
• One year of experience in food handling in retail, food service, bakery, warehouse or grocery.
• Culinary degree or certificate from a culinary program (preferred).
• Experience baking in institutional or catering operations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper training, knowledge and compliance with recipes and standards.
• Preps ingredients following food handling and safety guidelines.
• Arranges presentations of desserts, platters and pastry products.
• Maintains daily production levels and planning.
• Ensures food quality through tasting and sensory checks.
• Maintains equipment per safety standards and logs.
