Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.
• Speaks and understands basic English.
• Logical reasoning ability.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours when required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager, Head Baker and other bakers to create baked goods by following recipes and product directions.
• Operate baking machinery to produce items such as breads, cookies, cakes and pastries.
• Prepare orders for customers and manage inventory of ingredients with attention to expiration dates.
• Adhere to food safety laws and sanitation guidelines in all production activities.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe and report safety concerns to supervisors.
