Job summary

Albertsons Companies is hiring a Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and production methods. You will measure, mix, shape, and bake products, and decorate items such as cakes and specialty desserts.

In this fast-paced role, you will maintain a clean, organized workstation, rotate ingredients, and display items in well-stocked cases. You will also assist customers and take special orders to create a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts using established recipes.
• Measure, mix, shape and bake products; decorate cakes and specialty desserts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and keep ingredients rotated and labeled.
• Assist customers with product questions and take special orders; provide friendly service.
