Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Baker to prepare fresh breads, pastries, cakes and desserts following established recipes. You will measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate while maintaining a clean, organized work area and rotational labeling of ingredients.

You’ll collaborate with the bakery team to meet daily production needs, assist customers with questions, take special orders, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts using established recipes and methods.
• Measure, mix, shape and bake products; decorate items such as cakes and specialty desserts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; rotate and label ingredients; display products attractively.
• Plan daily production with bakery team to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist customers with questions and take special orders to create a positive experience.
